  • 2 cups cooked wild rice
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion

Creamy Sauce

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, sauté onions, carrots, and celery for 5–7 minutes until softened.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Stir in the cooked wild rice, shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, and cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes until bubbly and golden around the edges.

Notes

For extra flavor, add mushrooms or use rotisserie chicken. This casserole freezes beautifully, perfect for meal prep.
