Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup, uncooked White Rice
  • 2 1/4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 lemon, juice Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sear each chicken breast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
  • In the baking dish, combine the uncooked rice, chicken broth, lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir gently.
  • Place the seared chicken on top of the rice mixture.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45–50 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then fluff the rice with a fork and serve.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like peas or carrots to the rice for a colorful twist!
