Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings wings and drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

Dry Rub

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

Ranch Dressing

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise or full fat greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp cashew milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Make the dry rub first by adding all of the spices to a jar or small bowl and mix well.
  • Dry the chicken wings and drumsticks very well with paper towels—this is an important step for crispiness!
  • In a large bowl, put the dried chicken pieces and coat completely with 2 tablespoons of oil.
  • Sprinkle the oil-coated chicken with all of the dry rub and toss to coat completely.
  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and place a wire rack over the paper.
  • Place the dry rub coated chicken on the rack and leave space in between pieces so they get crispy.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until browned and cooked thoroughly.

Notes

For the best results, do not skip drying the wings with paper towels. The drier the skin, the crunchier the result!
